Pengertian Silabus dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran

A. Pengertian Silabus

Istilah Silabus dapat didevinisikan sebagai “garis besar, ringkasan, atau pokok-pokok isi atau materi pelajaran”. Silabus digunakan untuk menyebut suatu produk pengembangan kurikulum berupa penjabaran lebih lanjut dari standart kompetensi dan kemampuan dasar yang ingin dicapai, dan pokok-pokok serta uraian materi yang perlu dipelajari siswa dalam mencapai standart kompetensi dan kemampuan dasar.

Silabus adalah rencana pembelajaran pada suatu kelompok mata pelajaran dengan tema tertentu, yang mencakup standar kompetensi, kompetensi dasar, materi pembelajaran, indikator, penilaian, alokasi waktu, dan sumber belajar yang dikembangkan oleh setiap satuan pendidikan.

B. Pengertian Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajar

1. Prinsip Pengembangan Silabus

Pengembangan Silabus diserahkan sepenuhnya kepada setiap satuan pendidikan, khususnya bagi yang sudah mampu melakukannya. Oleh karena itu, setiap satuan pendidikan di beri kebebasan dan keleluasaan dalam mengembangkan silabus sesuai dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan masing-masing. Agar pengembangan silabus yang dilakukan oleh setiap satuan pendidikan tetap berada dalam bingkai pengembangankurikulum nasional, maka perlu memerhatikan prinsip-prinsip pengembangan silabus, yang meliputi :

a. Ilmiah
Pengembangan silabus berbasis KTSP harus dilakukan dengan prinsip ilmiah, yang mengandung arti bahwa keseluruhan materi dan kegiatan yang menjadi muatan dalam silabus harus benar, logis dan dapat dipertanggung jawabkan secara keilmuan.
b. Relevan
Cakupan, kedalaman, tingkat kesukaran dan urutan penyajian dalam silabus sesuai atau ada keterkaitan dengan tingkat perkembangan fisik, intelektual, sosial, emosional dan spiritual peserta didik.
c. Sistematis
Komponen-komponen silabus saling berhubungan secara fungsional dalam mencapai kompetensi.
d. Konsisten
Adanya hubungan yang konsisten antara kompetensi dasar, indikator, materi pokok, pengalaman belajarr, sumber belajar dan sistem penilaian.
e. Memadai
Cakupan indikator, materi pokok, pengalaman belajar, sumber belajar dan sistem penilaian cukup untuk menunjang pencapaian kompetensi dasar.
f. Aktual dan Kontekstual
Cakupan indikator, materi pokok, pengalaman bekajar, sumber belajar dan sistem penilaian memerhatikkan perkembangan ilmu, teknologi dan seni mutakhir daalm kehidupan nyata, dan peristiwa yang terjadi.
g. Fleksibel
Keseluruhan komponen silabus dapat mengakomodasi keragaman peserta didik, pendidik, serta dinamika perubahan yang terjadi di sekolah dan tuntutan masyarakat.
h. Menyeluruh
Komponen silabus mencakup keseluruhan ranah kompetensi (kognitif, afektif, psikomotor).

 2. Prinsip Pengembangan RPP

Pengembangan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harus memperhatikan perhatian dan karakteristik peserta didik terhadap materi standart yang dijadikan bahan kajian.

Terdapat beberapa prinsip yang harus diperhatikan dalam pengembangan RPP, yakni :
a. kompetensi yang dirumuskan dalam rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harus jelas, makin konkrit, kompetensi makin mudah di amati, dan makin cepat kegiatan-kegiatan yang harus dilakukan untuk membentuk kompetensi tersebut.
b. Rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harus sederhana dan fleksibel, serta dapat dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, dan pembentukan kompetensi peserta didik.
c. Kegiatan disusun dan di kembangkan dalam rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harus menunjang, dan sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar yang akan diwujudkan.
d. Rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dikembangkan harus utuh dan menyeluruh, serta jelas pencapaiannya.
e. Harus ada koordinasi antar komponen pelaksana program disekolah, terutama apabila pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara tim atau dilaksanakan di luar kelas, agar tidak mengganggu jam-jam pelajaran pembelajaran.
